Day 1 - Monday 17th August

We arrive in Dublin Port for the 8.20 am sailing, arriving in Holyhead 11.30 am. We drive the short journey to Llandudno where we will check in at The Dunoon Hotel early afternoon for our 4 nights Dinner Bed & Breakfast. Afternoon free to settle in and familiarize ourselves with our surroundings before dinner.

Day 2 - Tuesday 18th August

After breakfast we drive over the Menai Straits to the lovely island of Angelsey to the town of Beaumaris. Here you can explore the castle as well as the charming High Street with its independent shops. Returning to spend the afternoon in Llandudno.

Day 3 - Wednesday 19th August

Today there is some retail therapy in store for you shoppers. You will have the option spending the day at Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks designer outlet or in Chester city where you can shop ‘ til you drop’. Chester is awash with history and heritage, famous for its half-timbered buildings and galleried shops, the largest Roman Ampitheatre and a glorious Cathedral. There is certainly plenty to interest all ages. Returning to the hotel in time for dinner.

Day 4 - Thursday 20th August

After breakfast we are on the road again this morning making our way to Portmeirion a popular tourist village in Gwynedd. The village was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village and now owned by a charitable trust. The famous Portmerion Pottery was designed by his daughter in Stoke - on -Trent and can be bought in the village. Portmerion has also been the location for many films and television shows. Returning via Betws-y-Coed for the remainder of the afternoon.

Day 5 - Friday 21st August

After breakfast we say our goodbyes to Llandudno amd head for Holyhead Port in good time for the 1.50 pm ferry to arrive around 5.30 pm in Dublin Port. Retracing our journey homewards with drop-offs enroute.
